A comprehensive AAC evaluation helps determine if a child would benefit from AAC and which system is the best fit. During this evaluation, we:

• Assess the child's communication needs, strengths, and challenges
• Trial different AAC systems to find the best match
• Provide a detailed report with professional recommendations
• Assist families with the process of obtaining an AAC device through insurance 
• Available in-person only 

Once a child has an AAC device, learning how to use it effectively is key! We offer follow-up sessions to:

• Support families in incorporating AAC into daily life
• Device programming and customization
• Teach children how to navigate and use their device
• Provide strategies to encourage language development with AAC
