Speech Tech Therapy was founded by Samantha Sonnier, MS CCC-SLP, a licensed speech-language pathologist with extensive experience in early intervention and pediatric medical settings. Based in Austin, Texas, she has worked in a leading children's hospital supporting children with complex communication needs. Her clinical focus centers on making communication accessible through individualized, evidence-based AAC support.

Our Approach

About the Founder

Our Approach

There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to communication. That's why our approach is built around each child's unique strengths, challenges, and personality. We focus on:

  • Making communication functional and meaningful
  • Supporting families every step of the way
  • Helping communicators and families feel confident using AAC

Why AAC

Working Together

Our Approach

AAC isn't a last resort - it's a lifeline. It opens doors to learning, connection, and independence. We believe all children have something to say, and AAC can give them the tools to say it. When we support a child's ability to express themselves, we see the light up, engage more, and feel empowered. That's why we do what we do.

We don't just recommend a system and walk away - we stick with you. We offer ongoing support, encouragement, and tools that make AAC feel like a natural part of everyday life.
